Thanks, LV101:
Golly, I guess it's a widespread problem. I've heard of doctors not taking on new patients, but this!
Nice hearing from you!
in this morning's paper, i read that many local health pros -- about 150 -- are losing their jobs.
the huge medical establishments (sponsoring hospitals) expected to turn a profit but are, instead, losing money.
within a couple months, our labs, doctors' offices, etc., will close.

greetings, aging young men and women:.
the term, "aging young man," came to my attention when in my early 40s.
now, nearly thirty years later, i am definitely old.
Thank you, rebelfighter!
I understand completely. When I run into some clients from years ago, they tell me they wish I still worked for them.
I appreciate your story!

In this morning's paper, I read that many local health pros -- about 150 -- are losing their jobs. The huge medical establishments (sponsoring hospitals) expected to turn a profit but are, instead, losing money. Something to do with a "covenant."
Within a couple months, our labs, doctors' offices, etc., will close. My doctor confirmed this, just this morning.
How about out your way?

Greetings, aging young men and women:
The term, "aging young man," came to my attention when in my early 40s. Now, nearly thirty years later, I am definitely OLD. And, I am dependable. I get a lot of work, and keep it, because people count on me. Of course, I did fall down on a job once -- literally -- when I had a heart attack and couldn't finish feeding my cardiologist's dogs. What irony.
I've also read that us older folks have a low rate of work-related absenteeism. Perhaps, then, getting older and becoming more dependable are mated.
I bet you're dependable, too!
Want to talk about it?
THANKS!
i've just finished eating a slice of delicious birthday cake!.

a friend of mine posted on facebook photos of his sons wedding.
the interesting thought occured to me, he would never have met his wife, if i hadn't decided to go to this pub when he wanted to go to another pub.
we went to my pub, he met his wife, and all these years later his son has now got married ....wired..
Good morning, Syl:

greetings, word lovers:.
in my job, i work with words and wrangle them into shape, well, in a manner of speaking.
one word might be mistaken for another, a word with either a similar or identical sound.
Thanks, Sylvia!
Good choices and appreciate the etymology!
We are all together and altogether feeling fine!
